Andrew Jones
With over 18 years experience in vocational education, training and research at both a national and state level, Andrew has been operating his own educational consultancy since 1998 (first as tidemark design and now as purple infinity). In recent years Andrew has focused on government consultancy services, learning resource development and labour market research and analysis. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours (Philosophy) from the University of Tasmania.
Andrew has a comprehensive knowledge of vocational education and training policy and has been involved in the development and implementation of training strategies across a number of industry and educational sectors. Andrew has written numerous educational resources and research reports for a broad range of clients, including Curriculum Corporation, Department of Education; Employment and Workplace Relations; Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs; Innovation and Business Skills Australia; Local Government Association of Tasmania; Shea Business Consulting; Skills Tasmania; Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Tasmanian Polytechnic and the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority. |

Renika Muthaya
Renika has extensive vocational education, training and research experience, having worked in key industry organisations including the Australian National Training Authority, Business Services Training Australia, Innovation & Business Skills Australia and the Australian Industry Group. Renika holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Social Science (Environment & Planning) from RMIT Melbourne.
Renika has broad industry experience and strong project management, research and analytical skills gained while being part of teams that directed major national VET policy and through managing large research projects at both national and state levels. Since starting purple infinity with Andrew Jones, Renika has focussed on research, analysis, learning resource development and design.
Renika’s undergraduate education was in scientific research and her recent postgraduate education was in environmental and social research. Renika has invaluable international and cross cultural experience gained through living and working in many countries, most recently England and Hong Kong. |
